About Ayya Anopama
Ayya Anopama is a Buddhist nun and meditation teacher who offers teachings and retreats in English, Spanish and German across continents. She spent several years in retreat in Myanmar where she ordained with the Venerable Pa Auk Sayadaw and trained in the Burmese Forest Tradition. She has also practiced and studied with renowned teachers in the Early Buddhist, Tibetan Mahamudra and Insight Meditation traditions in both, East and West. A member of the Global Insight Dialogue Teaching Community and a student of Compassionate Inquiry (CI), she continues to explore how ancient wisdom, contemporary healing, and relational approaches can meet as doorways to inner freedom.
