Asian Diaspora Insight Dialogue Sangha will meet monthly on the Fourth Tuesday from 4-5:30pm ET. If you identify as someone with Asian heritage and/or part of the Asian Diaspora, please join us. Familiarity with Insight Dialogue is preferable but not required. You are welcome to join an Introduction to Insight Dialogue course while attending this Sangha.

In this Sangha, we will have an opportunity to cultivate presence, compassion, and curiosity in exploring the shared experiences of the Asian Diaspora – in ways that cannot be known in a BIPOC/Global Majority or predominantly white space.  We will use the six guidelines of Insight Dialogue as meditative tools, along with the Buddha’s wisdom teachings (dhamma) and the relational support of mindfulness and compassion (sangha), to help us slow down and contemplate what it means to show up as Asian.

How has being part of the Asian Diaspora shaped our body, mind, and speech?

Can conditioned cultural identifications and views be seen, known, and loosened?

As we contemplate with partners in silence and in dialogue, we will experience the amplified power of mindfulness and compassion, and taste the unexpected fruits of insight.  Together we awaken to the freedom from reactivities, hostilities, and oppression. Together we nurture and grow a community in which we can take refuge.
